Heartbreak as cowboy, 53, DROWNS after riding horse into the river
A man and a horse drowned in a failed attempt to cross a river in central Mexico, a spokesperson for the Querétaro State Attorney General's Office confirmed to DailyMail.com The 53-year-old victim, whose name wasn't released, was riding the animal along the shore of the river in municipality of San Juan del Río on Wednesday when he suddenly entered the water. The man quickly went underwater while the horse fell near the shore, where it was lying on its side.
