Terrifying chart shows how Hurricane Helene could turn into a catastrophic storm
Hurricane Helene is set to strike within the next several hours and its rapidly growing size is causing 'tremendous' concern among experts. The storm, currently a category two hurricane, is rampaging across the gulf of Mexico and is now only a few hundred miles away from Florida. A newly released chart revealed the heat coming off the Gulf measured about 85 degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday - roughly 20 degrees higher than the average for this time of year.
