Whoops! Brooke Shields got an unexpected welcome as a guest co-host on Today with Jenna & Friends on Monday, Dec. 8.
The 60-year-old model and Hollywood icon walked onto the set at 30 Rockefeller Center all smiles and waves until the time came to sit down at the table next to co-host Jenna Bush Hager.
"Why am I at the kid's table?" Shields asked as she sat in her white chair, which was several inches shorter than Bush Hager's chair.
"You guys, something's wrong," Bush Hager, 44, told her team, motioning to Shields' seat, as the Mother of the Bride star joked, "I get it, it's your show, I get it."

The talk show host joked with Shields, asking, "Is this the first time in your whole life you've ever felt not tall?" She also said that during the show's run, "We've never had a chair issue."
Shields tried to improvise, tucking her foot under her butt and attempting to sit tall. Thankfully, the production team stepped in and replaced the chair with one that was the proper height.

"I'm being really difficult, I know. I'm so sorry," Shields joked. "I was like, 'Things have changed since I've been here.' "
Shields previously co-hosted the fourth hour of the Today show in March. She's set to co-host all week.
Brooke Shields' chair gets replaced on 'Today with Jenna & Friends.'
The show's format shifted in January after Hoda Kotb exited the Today show. Since that time, Bush Hager has welcomed more than 60 celebrity guest co-hosts as her titular "friends."
"What's so cool about it is that it really does feel like we're pulling up chairs for all different types of people," Bush Hager told PEOPLE of her guest co-hosts back in January.
She added, "Yes, we have actors, but we also have comedians and people in media. And I think that really is what we're hoping to have: a total representation of who watches our show and something for every viewer."
