President Donald Trump wants to rip out the Rose Garden to create a patio like the one he has in the back terrace of Mar-a-Lago. Designers have been drafting designs for the renovations, which feature ripping out the manicured green lawn and replacing it with a hard surface, such as limestone, to create a patio similar to one Trump has at his Florida estate. The Republican has discussed whether or not to create an interchangeable surface so he'd have the option to swap for hardwood for dancing or going with limestone, sources told The New York Times.
