Netflix viewers can't stop talking about a 'gripping' new crime series, with some even claiming it's the 'best' one of the year so far. The Åre Murders is a Swedish series which landed on Netflix US on February 6, and subscribers wasted no time in binge-watching all five episodes. Set in the remote city of Åre, the program follows police officer Hanna Ahlander, who has been suspended from her job in Stockholm and dumped by her partner when she moves to her sister's vacation home.
