The actor who played Vice President JD Vance in the adaptation of his memoir thinks Hollywood needs to shut up about politics. Gabriel Basso, 30, portrayed Vance in the 2020 adaption of Hillbilly Elegy before the politician was elected to the Senate. Despite acting as the politician throughout his law school days, Basso doesn't believe Hollywood should be involved in politics and that his fellow actors should 'shut the f**k up'.
