A safari company has denied responsibility to a widower after his wife was killed by a hippo while on one of their excursions. Speaking through an attorney, Connecticut-based company African Portfolio offered a seemingly glib metaphor for the victim's extreme death after the 'really unusual tragedy'. 'My client is a tour operator. It organizes tours,' attorney Rod Gould told NBC News. 'A trip, for example, might include airfare. We're not responsible if the airline loses luggage.
