Week 15 has a packed Sunday afternoon slate with 13 games headlined by an AFC East battle between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots in the early window.

Buffalo (9-4) visits New England (11-2), looking to stay alive in the race for the AFC East title. The last time a team other than the Bills won the AFC East was in 2019, when the Patriots won the division. New England can clinch the division with a win over Buffalo, as it would take a three-game lead with three games remaining, and it would have swept the season series with the Bills. A loss for the Bills in Week 15 puts them in jeopardy of falling out of sixth place in the conference behind Houston (8-5) and Indianapolis (8-5).

Other big Sunday afternoon matchups include the Green Bay Packers visiting the Denver Broncos, and the Indianapolis Colts taking on the Seattle Seahawks. Quarterback Philip Rivers, 44, is set to make his first start since the 2020 NFL season in relief of Daniel Jones, who suffered a ruptured Achilles in Week 14, ending his season.

Fantasy managers out there, beware! The Sunday slate is filled with winter weather. The coldest game of the week is expected to be Bears-Browns in Chicago, where fans can expect a wind chill of -19 and winds up to 22 mph. Check out the full Week 15 NFL weather report here.

The Philadelphia Eagles hold a 31-0 lead over the Las Vegas Raiders with just under 10 minutes to go in the fourth quarter ... and apparently, the Eagles have seen enough from their starters, sending Jalen Hurts to the bench in favor of backup Tanner McKee, who will presumably finish out Sunday's game.

Hurts is currently the QB3 in Yahoo Fantasy leagues as it stands, having had a very efficient outing going 12-of-15 passing for 175 yards, 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He added another 39 yards on the ground and has a 154.9 NFL passer rating.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Preseason AP All-America forward Madison Booker had 27 points and eight rebounds as second-ranked Texas stayed undefeated with a 89-54 victory over turnover-plagued No. 13 Baylor on Sunday in a matchup of former conference rivals.

Texas (12-0) took control of the game with a 16-0 run in the first quarter when six different Longhorns players scored and Baylor had six turnovers in that span of just over 4 1/2 minutes. The Bears finished with a season-high 30 turnovers, their most since Nov. 9, 2008, which led to 42 points for Texas.

Baylor leading scorer Taliah Scott was injured midway through the second quarter after turning her right foot on a move to the basket and didn't return. Scott and Yuting Deng both had nine points for the Bears (10-2).

Jordan Lee scored 19 points while Rory Harmon had 12 points and 10 assists for Texas, which is 5-0 this season against AP Top 25 teams.

After trailing by five points early, the Longhorns got even at 11 when Lee had a steal and made a free throw after being fouled. They went ahead to stay a half-minute later when Lee had another steal on an errant pass and drove for a layup.

Harmon's three-point play in that big run made it 23-11 with 3:16 left in the first quarter, and Texas maintained a double-digit lead from there.

Baylor and Texas were in the Big 12 Conference together, and the Southwest Conference before that, until the Longhorns moved to the Southeastern Conference before last season.

Baylor wraps up nonconference play at home Thursday against Southern University.

Texas, which has won 32 consecutive home games, hosts Northwestern State on Wednesday.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Zeev Buium scored in his first game since being traded to Vancouver, Thatcher Demko stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced and the Canucks beat the New Jersey Devils 2-1 on Sunday.

The game was initially supposed to be Quinn Hughes and the Canucks against brothers Jack and Luke, after plenty of buzz about them wanting to play together in the NHL someday. Instead, Quinn was traded to Minnesota in a blockbuster move Friday night, and Jack remains out of the lineup after having finger surgery in November.

Buium was part of the return from the Wild, along with center Marco Rossi, who returned after missing a month because of injury. Buium also had an assist.

Liam Ohgren, the third player involved in the deal, along with a first-round draft pick, also made his Vancouver debut.

Jake DeBrusk scored the Canucks' opening goal 61 seconds in, continuing a recent problem for New Jersey goaltender Jacob Markstrom, who allowed three on the first seven shots he faced Thursday night, when he was pulled eight minutes in from an 8-4 home loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Markstrom allowed two goals in the first period on eight shots, then was perfect the rest of the way, finishing with 13 saves. The Canucks put only one shot on net in the third.

Luke Hughes scored the only goal of the game for the Devils, who were playing for a third time in four days. They've lost 10 of 16 games since Jack Hughes was injured during a team dinner in Chicago.

Brady Cook's family celebrates with cheers, hugs after undrafted Jets quarterback throws first NFL touchdown

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn showed a lot of confidence in undrafted quarterback Brady Cook ahead of Week 15. In early December, Glenn said he was confident Cook would be a good quarterback in the NFL.

Cook took a big step toward fulfilling that prediction in his first NFL start Sunday. As time was running down in the first quarter, Cook threw his first NFL touchdown, finding wideout AD Mitchell near the back of the end zone.

The broadcast did a tremendous job covering the play. Right after Cook threw his first career score, the camera immediately cut to his family, who celebrated with cheers and hugs in the stands.

This is pretty great -- undrafted QB Brady Cook throws his first NFL touchdown, and the camera cuts to his family's joyous celebration. Love this kind of stuff. pic.twitter.com/0e242pq9Jo

— Jay Busbee (@jaybusbee) December 14, 2025

Cook's celebration was understated. He knocked helmets and slapped hands with his teammates. In fact, Cook may have been too chill about the whole thing. Despite throwing his first NFL touchdown pass, Cook ran off the field without securing the football.

Thankfully, Mitchell was looking out for the rookie. After the score, Mitchell made sure to grab the ball and run it all the way back from the end zone to give it to Cook on the sideline.

AD Mitchell made sure to get the ball after Brady Cook's first TD ❤️NYJvsJAX on CBS/Paramount+https://t.co/HkKw7uXVnt pic.twitter.com/WmMPxPO2mk

— NFL (@NFL) December 14, 2025

Cook's odds of playing in the NFL, let alone starting a game, were pretty low after he was not selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. Despite a few strong seasons at Missouri, the 24-year-old wasn't a major prospect.

But the Jets saw enough in Cook to sign him after the draft. And Cook showed enough in camp to earn a spot on the team's practice squad. Early in the season, Cook bounced between the active roster and practice squad but didn't see time in a game until Week 14, when Cook came on in relief of Tyrod Taylor.

It wasn't the best debut. After being pushed into action, Cook went 14-of-30 for 163 yards and two interceptions.

With Taylor and Justin Fields both dinged in Week 15, though, Cook was announced as the Jets' starter against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He showed some promise early in the contest, tossing his first career NFL touchdown.

While Cook's future in the league is still in question, that was a strong way to get things started. Whether or not he gets another opportunity, both Cook and his family will remember that pass for a long, long time.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — T.J. Watt enjoys being a mentor. Yes, the Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker understands it's part of the job when you're among the best in the world at what you do. Still, the perennial Pro Bowler has long leaned into it, particularly when it comes to Nick Herbig.

The first tell-tale sign that Watt understood Herbig had the potential to be a difference-maker came during Herbig's rookie season two years ago.

Asked what makes the undersized Herbig stand out, Watt didn't point to Herbig's quickness or tenacity.

"He asks the right questions," Watt has said more than once.

Time to find out if all those "right questions" have led Herbig to the right answers. When Herbig steps onto the frigid Acrisure Stadium turf on Monday night as the Steelers (7-6) host the Dolphins, he'll do it without Watt nearby for the first time in his three-year career.

One of the NFL's elite pass rushers is out indefinitely after surgery to repair a partially collapsed lung following a dry-needling treatment mishap this week. Enter Herbig and rookie Jack Sawyer, who will both take on an increased workload while Watt recovers.

"I think that he's prepared not just myself, but a bunch of the younger guys in that sense to be able to take on that larger role, not just as a player but as a leader, and bringing that energy and just doing everything that he does right," said Herbig, whose 6 1/2 sacks this season trail only Watt's team-leading seven.

Herbig is not Watt, but he has shown flashes of being the latest link in Pittsburgh's long line of chaos-rendering edge rushers, a lineage that includes James Harrison, Greg Lloyd and Joey Porter Sr.

At 6-foot-1 and 240 pounds, Herbig makes up for his lack of bulk with lightning-quick reflexes and a relentlessness that helped him lead the Big Ten Conference in sacks during his final year at Wisconsin in 2022. He has showcased both on several occasions this year. In addition to the sacks, he's picked off a pass, forced two fumbles and recovered another for a Pittsburgh defense that relies heavily on creating turnovers to make up for an alarming inability to get stops, particularly against teams such as Miami that like to run the ball.

The Dolphins have won four straight games and five of six following a 1-6 start by putting the ball in running back De'Von Achane's hands and getting out of the way. Achane is averaging 109 yards during Miami's surge, taking some of the pressure off quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

In that way perhaps, having Sawyer play more might be a benefit. The fourth-round draft pick out of Ohio State lacks Watt's pass-rush skills but is adept at setting the edge against the run, something Pittsburgh has struggled to do consistently this season.

"I feel like I'm getting better each week and getting more comfortable with this level each week and the scheme and just trying to help this team win anyway I can," Sawyer said.

Sawyer saw the field for just three plays last week against Baltimore, though that number figures to spike against the Dolphins as Pittsburgh tries to keep its tenuous hold on its AFC North lead while looking to extend its winning streak for Monday night home games to 23.

That streak began before Herbig or Sawyer — or even Watt for that matter — were born.

Sawyer is no stranger to high stakes. He played a pivotal part in the Buckeyes' run to a national championship last winter and is eager to show he's not intimidated by the stakes or the stage.

"I've always put on my best games late in the year at Ohio State," Sawyer said, later adding, "You know, going on with this run, I want to be that guy that they can lean on if they need me and whenever my number is called."

The potential return of rookie defensive tackle Derrick Harmon might help keep Achane in check. The first-round pick out of Oregon is questionable after missing the last two games with a knee injury unrelated to the one he sustained near the end of training camp that cost him a couple of games in September.

The rushing defense numbers with and without Harmon in the lineup are jarring. The Steelers are surrendering nearly 100 yards fewer a game on the ground with Harmon's No. 99 manning the interior line.

"Derrick is very stout," longtime Pittsburgh defensive lineman Cam Heyward said. "We're having guys that are learning and coming along very well."

The Steelers need that learning curve to start leveling off if they want to reach the playoffs for a third straight season. The finishing stretch beyond Monday night includes a trip to run-heavy Detroit and a visit by Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18.

Whether that game is for a playoff spot or chance to rest will rely heavily on Pittsburgh's ability to adapt without arguably its best player. While the "next man up" mentality has long been an NFL cliche, the Steelers have embraced it.

Embracing it and succeeding at it, however, are two different things. And Herbig and Sawyer and everyone else in black and gold know it.

"Obviously you can't replace a guy like (Watt)," Herbig said. "A Hall of Famer, the best in the league, the best to ever do it. It's hard to replace a guy like that. But we're going to do everything in our ability to make sure we do the right things by him."

MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Manchester City and Aston Villa kept the pressure on Premier League leader Arsenal with wins on Sunday.

Nottingham Forest pulled further away from the relegation zone with a 3-0 against Tottenham and Sunderland beat Newcastle 1-0 in the Tyne-Wear derby after an own goal from Nick Woltemade.

Arsenal had extended its lead at the top of the standings to five points with a 2-1 win against Wolves on Saturday. But a day later its closest rivals both responded with victories - second-place City winning 3-0 at Crystal Palace and Villa, in third, twice coming back to beat West Ham 3-2 at the London Stadium.

City is two points behind Arsenal and Villa is a point further back.

Revenge for City

Beaten by Palace in the FA Cup final last season, City exacted some revenge to take all three points at Selhurst Park.

Erling Haaland scored his 101st Premier League goal to put City in front late in the first half and he got his second of the match with an 89th-minute penalty. The Norwegian has 36 goals in 27 appearances for club and country in another remarkable scoring season. He is the league's leading scorer with 17 goals.

Phil Foden got City's other goal in between Haaland's double.

Rogers leads Villa fightback

Morgan Rogers scored twice in the second half to extend Aston Villa's winning run to nine-straight games and keep Unai Emery's team on the heels of Arsenal and City.

Villa has lost just one of its last 13 games in the league and won 10 of its last 11, but twice had to come from behind at relegation fighting West Ham.

Mateus Fernandes scored the fastest goal in England's top flight this season when putting the home team 1-0 up after just 29 seconds. But Konstantinos Mavropanos' own goal leveled the game eight minutes later.

Jarrod Bowen then gave West Ham the lead at halftime with his second goal in as many games in the 24th.

Rogers leveled the game again five minutes after the break and struck the winner in the 79th.

It's the second time Chiefs right tackle Jaylon Moore, playing in place of starter Jawaan Taylor, has gone down with an injury in this contest.

This time, it looks like a lower-body injury for the backup right tackle, which could put Chukwuebuka Godrick in line to finish out Sunday's game. Godrick, an undrafted free agent out of the 2023 class, was elevated from the practice squad this week after originally signing as an International Player to the Practice squad back in August. Week 15 marks the first regular-season snaps of his career.

Despite the score, it's been a slow first half for Barkley, who's totaled just 30 rushing yards on 14 carries, including a long of seven yards. QB Jalen Hurts, meanwhile, has completed 7-of-10 pass attempts for 94 yards and a score with an NFL passer rating of 132.9 — an efficient start for the quarterback, coming off a five-turnover outing against the Los Angeles Chargers last week.

Head coach Nick Sirianni shut down any speculation about a possible benching, stating, "I think that's ridiculous."

DHARAMSALA, India (AP) — Aiden Markram helped South Africa avoid another unwanted batting record but couldn't prevent India winning a lopsided third Twenty20 match by seven wickets on Sunday.

Put into bat, South Africa rallied from 7-3 to 117 all out in 20 overs and India replied with 120-3 in 15.5 overs under the floodlights at Dharamsala to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.

South Africa had looked in danger of scoring fewer runs than its series-opening 74, the team's worst total in T20 cricket, before Markram's defiant knock. The South Africa captain hit two sixes and six fours in his 46-ball innings before he was caught behind against pacer Arshdeep Singh (2-13 in four overs).

Kuldeep Yadav took 2-12 in his two overs, including the wicket of Ottneil Baartman off the final ball of South Africa's innings.

India made light work of the chase. Openers Abhishek Sharma (35 runs off 18 balls) and Shubman Gill took the hosts to 43-0 after 3.1 overs, the same stage at which South Africa was 7-3.

Sharma and Gill shared an opening stand of 60, which was ended by Markram running to catch Sharma off the bowling of Corbin Bosch. Gill was bowled by Marco Jansen for a run-a-ball 28. South Africa quick Lungi Ngidi (1-23) dismissed India captain Suryakumar Yadav, who was caught by Baartman for 12.

Tilak Varma (26 not out) and Shivam Dube (10 not out) took India home in the latest twist in an unpredictable series. South Africa won the second T20 by 51 runs after losing the first match by 101 runs.

The fourth T20 is on Wednesday at Lucknow.

The series is in preparation for the T20 World Cup in India in February. India is the defending champion after beating South Africa in a gripping end to the final in 2024.

India won the ODI series against South Africa 2-1 after losing the test series 2-0.

The New York Giants quarterback hasn't confirmed the alleged romance

Jaxson Dart may be off the market.

The New York Giants quarterback sparked romance rumors back in October 2025, when he was spotted at a Halloween party with Marissa Ayers. Those rumors ramped up even more after she was photographed with his mom, Kara Dart, during his game against the New England Patriots on Dec. 1.

Other than his love for his team, the rising NFL star has kept quiet about his dating life and hasn't confirmed the alleged romance. "It's a privilege to be the quarterback for the Giants," Dart told Sports Illustrated in May 2025. "There's not a better city to play for, there's not a better place to be than New York."

Ayers — a social media influencer, model and ring girl who went viral on social media after Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano's boxing match in July 2025 — also has not commented on the rumors. However, in a January 2025 TikTok video, she briefly talked about what she's looking for in a partner.

"I'm just a very, very picky person," she said. "Like I have very high standards ... I just feel like I haven't met somebody that really matches my energy."

So, who is Jaxson Dart's rumored girlfriend? Here's everything to know about Marissa Ayers and her rumored relationship with the pro football player.

Ayers grew up in Georgia

In her January 2025 TikTok video, Ayers also revealed that she's originally from Georgia and has moved a whopping 17 times. Her parents got divorced when she was in the sixth grade, and she has one older sister whom she described as her "complete opposite."

"She's more calm and I'm kinda more crazy and can't sit still," Ayers said in the video.

The TikTok star also told her followers that she spent much of her childhood as a competitive gymnast and was in the sport for 11 years before she got "burnt out." Ayers switched to cheerleading in high school.

She graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2025

According to her LinkedIn profile, Ayers attended The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She studied public relations and advertising and graduated with her bachelor's degree in communication in May 2025.

"Alabama you were the sweetest home to me," she captioned an Instagram post about her graduation.

It was her time at college that led to her social media stardom: Ayers wrote on her LinkedIn profile that she built a TikTok following by sharing her experience as a college student.

Ayers started modeling as a ring card girl for Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian's boxing company, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), in May 2025, per her TikTok. The social media influencer went viral in July 2025 during the Taylor-Serrano match at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which aired on Netflix.

"I was just on Netflix," she said in a TikTok video posted that day. "I can't even believe that. … Part of history for women's boxing. It was so cool. The vibes, the energy, it was so loud. It was so much fun."

She's a model and influencer

Ayers has been active as a content creator on TikTok since March 2018 and on Instagram since March 2020, according to her LinkedIn. The University of Alabama alum has 1.5 million followers on TikTok and over 400,000 followers on Instagram.

Ayers has worked with major brands like Revolve, Ariana Grande Fragrances, SKIMS, L'Oréal and Lancôme. She posts a wide variety of lifestyle content, including "Get Ready with Me (GRWM) videos and "Day in the Life" vlogs.

Dart and Ayers were first spotted together at a Halloween party in October, Sports Illustrated reported. Though the football player and the TikTok star didn't share any images from the party together, Ayers posted an Instagram roundup showing off her mermaid costume "in manhattan."

Dart liked the Halloween post as well as a number of her other photos, including an Instagram roundup from when she attended the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend in November 2025.
