George Clooney had some experience before earning a role as a heartthrob on ER.

The Jay Kelly star, 64, dished on his first kiss in a new interview with W Magazine — including how young he was and where he got his first smooch.

"[I had my first kiss] in the back of a church in my hometown of Augusta, Kentucky. I was 11," Clooney recalled to the outlet.

"We were hiding from all of our friends who were outside waiting, saying, 'Kiss her! Kiss her!' The relationship didn't last — 11-year-olds move on pretty quickly," he added.

Besides his stint as the suave doctor Doug Ross from 1994-1999, he has also starred in several romantic movies throughout his career including 1996's One Fine Day with Michelle Pfeiffer, 2003's Intolerable Cruelty with Catherine Zeta-Jones and more recently, 2022's Ticket to Paradise with Julia Roberts.

However, his kissing scenes haven't always gone as smoothly as he would have liked. He shared in a 2022 interview promoting Ticket to Paradise with The New York Times that the he was once criticized over his kissing skills.

"I remember early on in my career, I had to do a kissing scene with this girl, and the director goes, 'Not like that.' And I was like, 'Dude, that's my move! That's what I do in real life!' " Clooney said at the time.

In the same interview, he revealed that it took him and Roberts several takes to film their one kissing scene. "Yeah. I told my wife [Amal Clooney], 'It took 80 takes,' " he said. "She was like, 'What the hell?' "
