Miss Jamaica is on the road to recovery.

After Dr. Gabrielle Henry recently fell off the stage during the Miss Universe preliminary evening gown round in Thailand on Nov. 19, the Miss Universe Organization has provided an update on her condition.

In a statement shared on Instagram on Nov. 24, Miss Universe Organization president Raúl Rocha Cantú said that the "latest medical report confirms that Dr. Gabrielle Henry is in good health and nearing discharge" from a hospital in Bangkok, where she has been receiving treatment.

A previous update shared on Instagram on Nov. 21 cited her sister, Dr. Phylicia Henry-Samuels, who said that Henry wasn't "doing as well as we would have hoped" and that she would remain in the intensive care unit for at least seven days.

Dramatic video shared on social media last week showed Henry falling off the stage at the event in Thailand, and another video from the pageant showed a person being carried away in a stretcher.

In a Nov. 19 statement provided to USA TODAY, the Miss Universe Organization said that Henry was in stable condition after she sustained "a couple of minor wounds." The physician and advocate, 28, had been set to compete at the pageant on Nov. 21.

"I was there with her family and her, and thankfully, there are no broken bones and she is under good care," Cantú wrote in an Instagram post.

In the Nov. 24 update, Cantú said he oversaw Henry's transfer to the hospital, "was present at the emergency room alongside her family," and "recommended a series of precautionary actions." He added that there "have been difficult moments and unexpected concerns" over the past few days, but "we are grateful that she is now close to being released from the hospital."
