The fifth and final season of *Stranger Things* will introduce fans to so many changes — including the eradication of Will's bowl cut!

Ahead of the premiere of Volume One on Wednesday, *The Tonight Show* unveiled a new minute-long "Stranger Things Recap Rap," featuring Hawkins' bravest heroes breaking down the past four seasons of Demogorgons, portals, and Upside Down shenanigans.

Stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Joe Keery, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Maya Hawke reunited to speed-run through the series' Stephen King-inspired mythology and succinctly chronicle how a group of *Dungeons & Dragons*-loving Indiana tweens stumbled into a supernatural conspiracy in the 1980s.

Each star tackles a handful of words that make up lyrics such as, "Hawkins / Indy / '83, Chillin' / Playing D&D, I go missing / OMG."

"Upside Down / It has some cracks, Will's possessed / Eleven's gone," the crew raps for season 2. "I like Nancy / I like John / I like Max / And Mom likes Bob, R.I.P. / Well, so it goes / Guys, I'm back / The gate is closed."

Schnapp, whose character Will spends a lot of his time during the seasons being lost or possessed, regularly interjects to remind viewers of his main characteristic: "Major bowl cut."

As the clock ticks down, the beats get quicker, and the crew speeds up as their time draws to a close recounting how season 4 left Hawkins in shambles. "Vecna's coming / Out to kill, hurry, go, run up that hill / Mom's in Russia, um, okay, but El is here to save the day / Season five, Vecna's lair / Don't start floating, in the air / One more year with better hair / Stranger Things, we'll see you there."

The rap recap segment is one of several ways the *Strangers Things *cast will cross over with *The Tonight Show.* Matarazzo was the first cast member to join appear on the late-night talk show ahead of the final season premiere earlier this fall, with Keery slated to make an appearance on the show's Thanksgiving episode.

Next, Brown will serve as Jimmy Fallon's co-host for the show's final post-*Sunday Night Football *special on Dec. 7.

Later that month, the series will feature a full week of *Stranger Things *guests*, *including Winona Ryder, Wolfhard, McLaughlin and the Duffer Brothers.

It's a fitting celebration for one of the year's most anticipated TV events. After almost a decade of watching and anticipating, creators Matt and Ross Duffer have said the final eight episodes of Netflix's hit horror series will be akin to "eight blockbuster movies."

In September, Netflix offered fans a glimpse at the final season, showcasing several behind-the-scenes clips that see its cast reunite as they prepare to duke it out against the villainous Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) to save Hawkins and the world as they know it.

Brown described season 5 as "more of an adventure" and a "mission" than its predecessors. "Everyone is really put into the thick of it," she said in the featurette. "No one is sitting back on a walkie-talkie, everyone is full throttle, going for it."

"This is a season about fighting to the bone, even if when you don't know that you're gonna win," Hawke, who plays Robin, noted. Wolfhard added, "It's the highest stakes that the show has ever been."

Season 5 will be released in three installments, with the first volume dropping on Wednesday at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. The second volume follows Christmas Day at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, with the finale dropping on its own on New Year's Eve at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.**
