Millie Bobby Brown breaks silence on David Harbour bullying report
Millie Bobby Brown is opening up about her off-screen friendship with David Harbour after drama that filled the online airwaves after a report alleged Brown filed a complaint against her longtime Stranger Things costar.
"We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything," the actress, 21, told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Wednesday, but conducted a few days after the pair was spotted looking chummy on the red carpet of the show's season 5 premiere in Los Angeles earlier this month.
"We've been doing that for the last 10 years," Brown told the outlet when asked why it was important for the pair to show a united front after the accusations. "I mean, we have always been united in that."

The Daily Mail published an article on Nov. 1 claiming that Brown allegedly filed a bullying and harassment complaint with Netflix against Harbour, 50. Citing an unnamed source, the publication alleged there was an internal inquiry, but clarified it did not pertain to any sexual harassment or misconduct.
The report remains widely unverified. Celebrity gossip source Deuxmoi stated on a recent podcast that there was "a misunderstanding on set before they started filming one day and it had to do with their lines but that it was quickly resolved between them." Even then, Deuxmoi says she "can't say for sure" because she "didn't see a copy of this complaint."
The alleged strife also came out directly after Harbour's ex-wife Lily Allen released a new album in which she laid bare details of their relationship, including alleged cheating.
The Stranger Things cast and crew attended the Los Angeles premiere of season 5 on Nov. 6. Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer, as well as producer Shawn Levy, sidestepped questions on the red carpet. "We've been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they're family and we deeply care about them," Ross told The Hollywood Reporter. "So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy."

Netflix made a point to tweet that Brown and Harbour showed up to the premiere together, and the pair were visibly friendly with each other. Reporters in attendance did not directly ask Brown about the article on the red carpet, but just generally asked about her relationship with Harbour.

To Entertainment Tonight, Brown said she has "a really special bond with David because we have a father-daughter relationship and we do every scene together." She added, "It's been so special to have him on the journey with me."
To Extra, Brown said, "We're so lucky to have each other."
The first four episodes of Stranger Things season 5 drooped on Netflix on Wednesday evening, leading to an outages on the streamer due to a spike in viewership. Additional episodes will release on Christmas Day at at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and the series finale will premiere on New Year's Eve in select theaters and on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
