This holiday season, Keith Urban is giving back.

Earlier this week, the country star, 58, paid a visit to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville to spend time with patients and their families. He also led an acoustic sing-along and donated guitars to the hospital's music therapy program.

Urban answered fan questions, took photos and led the sing-along at the hospital's Seacrest Studios. Meg Rush, MD, MMHC, president of Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, said the staff is "truly grateful" for his time in a statement.

"Keith is a wonderful friend to our hospital with several visits over the years," added Rush.

The "Somebody Like You" artist's donation of guitars will contribute to Monroe Carell's music therapy program, where board-certified therapists utilize the art form to "provide emotional support, pain and anxiety management, developmental goals, coping, and overall well-being to children and families," according to the hospital.

Rush's statement continued, "His thoughtful and generous gift of guitars to our Music Therapy Program will help us continue using music as added therapy to bring comfort and healing to children during their hospital stay."

According to the medical center's website, "Monroe Carell is one of the nation's leading children's hospitals, and the largest in the Southeast."

"We are ranked nationally in 10 specialties, offer the highest-level NICU and emergency care, and partner with experts across Vanderbilt University Medical Center," reads the website. "Our pioneering research and innovation in pediatric health care bring the latest treatments to our hospital and 22 regional and affiliated clinics."

Last month, Urban performed his 1999 hit "Where the Blacktop Ends" at the 2025 CMA Awards alongside host Lainey Wilson — marking his first televised performance since splitting from estranged wife Nicole Kidman over the summer.

PEOPLE confirmed news of Urban and Kidman's separation on Sept. 29. The following day, the Babygirl star filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage.

After wrapping his High and Alive World Tour earlier this year, Urban is slated to perform concert dates in the Caribbean, England, the United States and Canada in 2026.
