'Landman' renewed for Season 3. Here's what we know so far.
"Landman" has plenty of fuel left in the tank.
Amid the show's successful second season, Paramount+ announced on Dec. 5 that "Landman" has been renewed for Season 3.
The drama series follows Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton), an oil company executive in Texas, as he navigates the business of oil rigging and his complicated personal relationships. Among its other stars are Demi Moore, Ali Larter and Michelle Randolph.
Created by Taylor Sheridan of "Yellowstone" and "Tulsa King," "Landman" premiered in November 2024, and its second season began last month. According to Paramount+, Season 2 has already set records for the platform — its premiere was the most watched premiere for any original series on Paramount+.

Has 'Landman' been renewed for Season 3?
"Landman" has been renewed for Season 3, Paramount+ said in a press release on Dec. 5. The platform has not yet revealed a release date.
Fans were quick to celebrate the news on social media.
"Best show on TV right now. Keep many seasons coming," one person wrote on Instagram.
Thornton previously told USA TODAY that the series has proven more widely known than his past projects.
"My shows were popular, but this is entering a different world. This is kind of a phenomenon," he said. "I've been famous for like 35 years or whatever, but it's gone to another level. I didn't know there'd be another level for me."

How to watch 'Landman' Season 2
While "Landman" fans can officially get excited for Season 3, the show's second season is currently still airing.
New episodes air weekly on Paramount+ at midnight ET on Sundays. Out of the 10-episode season, four have aired so far.
The next episode will air on Sunday, Dec. 14, at midnight ET on Paramount+.
