Demigods, get ready. The anticipated season 2 return of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" is set to take place this week. Based on the beloved book series by Rick Riordan, the show's first season premiered in December 2023.

The plot of the first season closely resembles that of the first book in the series, "The Lightning Thief." The second season is expected to do the same with the second book, "The Sea of Monsters," in which main character and teenager Percy Jackson "sails to the Sea of Monsters to rescue his friend Grover and save Camp Half-Blood," according to the Disney+ description of the season.
