Caitlin O'Connor's hand just got a little heavier!
The bride-to-be, 36, reveals to PEOPLE that her fiancé, Joe Manganiello, 49, gifted her an upgraded second diamond engagement ring that he thoughtfully designed himself.
"It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and has special meaning to us as a couple," O'Connor gushes. "It's a 7-carat round stone with a pavé diamond band and a halo of diamonds around the main stone."

When Manganiello popped the question on June 24, 2025, he did so with a different dazzling diamond ring, which O'Connor wore in a photo shared by the couple on Instagram when they announced their engagement on Oct. 17, 2025.
O'Connor reveals that Manganiello proposed "under Mount Etna," an active stratovolcano on the east coast of Sicily, Italy. She notes that the special moment was "very romantic."
"I am very excited to be engaged to my love," she tells PEOPLE.

O'Connor's new sparkler made its red carpet debut when the actress and TV host stepped out at the 2026 LA Art Show opening night premiere party in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Jan. 7. Keeping things bridal, O'Connor wore a white floral corset over black bottoms at the event.
As for wedding planning, O'Connor is just getting started.
"I am just starting the process but very excited and taking it one day at a time," she says. "I am enjoying being engaged."

In December, O'Connor opened up to PEOPLE about the exact moment she knew Manganiello was "the one."
"We were holding hands in a crowd rushing by us, and someone tried to cut through us and cause us to stop holding hands while the crowd rushed by," she said. "Joe protected that hand-hold and wouldn't let the person cross in between us, and that is when I knew he was the one!"
Manganiello and O'Connor initially sparked romance rumors in September 2023 and confirmed their relationship in December that same year while making their red carpet debut as a couple at the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) Gala in New York City.
