What's better than one investigative team? Two of them.
The 25th season of "Law & Order" is returning to TV this week with a crossover featuring its spinoff, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," according to NBC.
The long-running show's return comes after both series had their fall finales in late November.
In the two-hour winter premiere, titled "Snowflakes," the disappearance of an injured woman in the hospital leads to a murder investigation where Brady partners with Benson's SVU "to unravel a complex motive," NBC said.

When does 'Law & Order' Season 25 premiere?
The legal drama premieres on NBC on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 8 p.m. ET. The episode will be available to stream on Peacock the following day.
Actor David Ajala, who plays Detective Theo Walker, told People that the episode is "pretty full."
"A lot happens," he said, per the outlet. "A lot of action and characters meeting each other for the first time. We covered some ground."
