Groom Max Schauff went viral for his Morgan Wallen-style walkout entrance to his wedding earlier this month
In the video, he could be seen walking down a street and into their wedding venue, with his bride joining him, as their family and friends watched on a screen and cheered them on
The groom said the walkout was "three weeks" in the making, and he came up with the idea due to his and his wife's mutual love for Wallen's music
A groom channeled one of his favorite musicians to pull off an unexpected entrance to his wedding!
Max Schauff went viral for his Morgan Wallen-inspired walkout entrance at his nuptials on Dec. 6, in Madison, Wis., which captured the hearts of guests at their celebration.
Schauff shared the video on his Instagram, and the moment was also shared by Country Chord on Instagram. The video, provided by Max and Cosette Schauff, was taken from the point-of-view of the couple's wedding guests who watched the walkout on a large screen in the wedding venue.

Just like Morgan Wallen, who opens every concert by entering each venue with his signature walkout, Max pulled off his own version. In the viral clip, the groom can be seen walking down the street in his black wedding suit and tie to Wallen's collab with Lil Durk, "Broadway Girls."
At one point in the video, he could be seen telling the camera to wait a moment before it panned to follow him as he greeted his bride, Cosette, halfway up a staircase to their wedding venue. The couple shared a sweet handshake before he pulled her in for a kiss as the audience cheered and clapped.
The couple then walked up the rest of the steps into the venue, as the camera panned from the large screen to them in the back of the room. The MC announced, "Let's give it up for Cosette and Max," as the pair entered the building and greeted their family and friends.

Max tells PEOPLE that the viral wedding "grand entrance" was "three weeks" in the making, and that he came up with the idea as a nod to the couple's mutual love for the "Last Night" singer's "music and country music in general."
"I told Cosette and her sister, what if we did a Morgan Wallen walkout?!," he recalls. "We went to the Madison concert this year when his guest walkout was Brett Favre, so we re-watched that walkout and decided to mimic that exact one."
Max says his wife was on board from the start and "loved the idea." But the big question was how they were going to pull it off successfully in front of their guests. He says they were able to acquire video projector screens, and the idea was solidified.
The couple's videographer, Aaron Meissner, who works with Max's company LineLeap, helped them pull off the entire thing by filming "the walkout," and making sure it all synced "with the sound, band and video crew at our wedding." The Wisconsin weather also added to the moment, "with light snow," helping the whole thing "feel magical" and in theme with their "winter wedding" theme.
"We couldn't see much of the crowd reaction until we entered. At that point, a lot were on their feet and cheering," the groom recalls. "Looking back at the videos that our guests recorded, our younger crowd, and especially the Morgan Wallen fans, were clearly the most excited about the entrance."

"Hearing all the cheering and chanting as we walked in was such a fun and unforgettable moment," he adds.
He says they ultimately decided to share the video before boarding a 15-hour flight to their honeymoon, as they thought Wallen fans would "enjoy" it, but they "never expected" it to "blow up as much as it did." When they landed and saw the views, he says it was a "fun surprise" — but not the only thing that made the wedding special.
"Morgan Wallen walkout aside, we had numerous personal touches, including Cosette writing and recording our first dance song," he says. "And to have our friends, family, colleagues, mentors and more all in one place to celebrate made for an unbelievable day."
