Jennifer Garner's return to the Golden Globes was one to remember.
Attending the awards show for the first time in 13 years, the actress and presenter, 53, had a standout red carpet moment dressed in a black Cong Tri gown that screamed timeless elegance. According to InStyle, the monochromatic sleeveless number was decked out in 330,000 crystal beads hand-embroidered onto the fabric and took a staggering 1,300 hours to even make.
That tiny — okay, mega — detail is why Garner admitted she almost had a wardrobe malfunction before getting into the Beverly Hilton.

"It's very heavy. It almost sent me flying down the stairs and I almost fell," Garner told WWD on the Jan. 11 red carpet. The 13 Going on 30 star said that she still felt very "sparkly and pretty" in the dress and likely her Boucheron jewelry.
She accessorized with Chevron pendant earrings boasting 3-carat pear-cut diamonds paved with round diamonds. On her hands were the Goutte ring, a white gold band adorned with a 5.01-carat pear-shaped diamond and pearls, and the Plume de Paon feather ring set with a 2.03-carat blue sapphire and paved with diamonds.
Garners' fashionable arrival was also accompanied by a hair transformation debut. Celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham refreshed the actress' "Champagne Ribbon Brunette" hue using Schwarzkopf Professional. Hairstylist Adir Abergel used Virtue Labs to perfect her curled shoulder-length style.

Despite the glamorous air of the night, Garner told WWD that she spent the morning of in mom mode. "My daughter went back to college this morning, so I got up at 5, took her to the airport," she said, adding that she also cooked up "waffles for a bunch of teenagers" for a sleepover at her house. "There's no stress here, it's all good."
Garner last attended the Globes in 2013 with her then-husband, Ben Affleck. The former couple split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage, officially divorcing three years later.
