Guy Fieri will host his supersized Flavortown Tailgate on Feb. 8 ahead of Super Bowl LX, drawing more than 10,000 guests for a four-hour food-and music-filled party in the Bay Area
The free event will spotlight local restaurants through its "Built in the Bay" experience and feature performances by Loud Luxury and Tucker Wetmore, plus surprise celebrity drop-ins — and Fieri's own sons are expected to attend
Fieri tells PEOPLE that he's a former "tailgate king" and says the goal is to make sure "everybody can feel that heartbeat of the tailgate," even if they can't get into the game, promising, "We are going to throw down"
Guy Fieri is bringing Flavortown to the Bay Area ahead of the Big Game.
On Feb. 8, ahead of Super Bowl LX, Fieri will throw Guy Fieri's Flavortown Tailgate Presented by SpotOn, a supersized tailgate which will draw over 10,000 guests during a four-hour party.
"What do people want when they go to tailgate? They want food, they want booze, they want activities. They want to be entertained, they want to have that feeling," Fieri, 57, tells PEOPLE. "Not everybody's going to get to go to the game, but everybody can feel that heartbeat of the tailgate going on in their community."
The Flavortown Tailgate will include a showcase of a variety of food and drinks from local Bay Area restaurants and bars (including some of Fieri's favorite Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives restaurants) called "Built in the Bay", curated activations and activities, live musical performances by Loud Luxury and Tucker Wetmore and of course, surprise celebrity appearances.

"For me to throw the tailgate and then bring in some of my favorite Triple D restaurants and Spot On to bring in some of their favorite restaurants and us to highlight that and let that shine in front of everybody, it's gonna be really cool," the Guys Grocery Games host says. "You never know what celebrity's gonna show up."
Past attendees have included Eli Manning, Gordon Ramsay, Flavor Flav and Diplo, to name a few.
Among those expected to attend this year are Fieri's sons Hunter, 29, Ryder, 20, and nephew Jules, 26.
"We can't get them to return a text every time you want to text or pick up their phone when you're trying to find them, but come Super Bowl weekend, everybody's available now," Fieri jokes.
Tickets for the tailgate are completely free to guests with the option to purchase a VIP ticket that will give guests an all-inclusive food and drink option.
This will be the fourth year that Fieri has thrown his Super Bowl tailgate, something that comes naturally to the chef.

"Back in the day I was a tailgate king," Fieri laughs. "I was the guy that you wanted to invite because as a chef, I would just make the bounty of the county. I mean, I wasn't just doing hot dogs and a bag of chips. I'd spend all day Saturday in one of my restaurants getting my tailgate menu together, I wanted this 'wow' tailgate. You always got better tickets from your friends if you had the wow tailgate."
The party will run from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. giving football fans and locals all day to harness in the energy of the Big Game.
"You see fans from all different genres and, and all different perspectives coming together," Fieri says. "We are going to throw down."
Guests can visit here to register for tickets to the tailgate ahead of Feb. 8.
