Taylor Swift is inviting fans back into the world that defined her last two years. The End of an Era, her six-part Disney+ docuseries, takes fans behind the curtain of the record-breaking Eras Tour, offering an intimate vantage point on the work that went into the cultural phenomenon.
Viewers will see Swift in planning mode, mapping out transitions, fine-tuning the mechanics of the show, and pushing herself toward what she calls in the trailer, "a seismic, momentous period of time in my life." The series blends archival footage with fresh interviews, including appearances from her dancers, bandmates, longtime collaborators like Ed Sheeran and Gracie Abrams, and, yes, her fiancé Travis Kelce.
The docuseries also promises insight into the parts of the tour fans only ever heard rumors about, including behind-the-scenes planning with Sabrina Carpenter and the final nights in Vancouver, where Swift performed what became an emotional five-song acoustic set.
Speaking in a new teaser that aired on Good Morning America, Swift reflects on the scale of the undertaking: "We have done something that no one has ever done." Her mom, Andrea, adds her own perspective on the pressure the team faced: "Executing a tour of this size is mind-boggling. How do we do this?" And one of Swift's dancers captures the intensity of those last months simply: "This feels like my Super Bowl."
