Lola Tung is saying goodbye to her signature look.
The 23-year-old actress debuted a moody brunette hair transformation in New York City on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Tung stepped out wearing a cropped black leather jacket and brown cargo pants. She accessorized with sneakers, a burnt orange handbag, gold earrings and small black sunglasses.
The Summer I Turned Pretty star also took the opportunity to show off her new espresso-brown hair color. Instead of her usual copper brunette, Tung stepped out with a nearly black hue, which perfectly matched her ensemble.
Tung also sported the look in an Instagram carousel shared on Wednesday, Dec. 17. "day & night with @miumiu #ad #MiuMiu #MiuMiuHoliday 💐🎀," she wrote in the caption.

The post included snaps of the star wearing a gray-and-black plaid fleece jacket and black trousers. She also carried a black Miu Miu handbag and, in two of the photos, wore a black fabric headband in her freshly dyed locks.
In a recent interview with Nylon, Tung reflected on growing up with her TSITP character, Belly Conklin. Before she landed the role, she recalled reading author Jenny Han's series of novels that inspired the show while she was a student at Carnegie Mellon University.
"There was a really dramatic single tear that rolled down my cheek," Tung told the outlet. "I love this world so much. If I wasn't in this show, I would watch this."

The star also opened up about her dating life.
"It's hard out here," she quipped. "I'm not an apps girl. They've always scared me, even in my college days. My friends would be like, 'Let's play Tinder,' and scroll through their Tinders. I'd be like, 'OK, I'll just look over your shoulder.'"
"I'm of the mindset of, 'it'll happen if it's right,'" she continued. "I'm hyper-independent, which is good and also sometimes not great. But some men need more time to grow, which is what we also learned from Summer. We're so quick to try to rush things in life. One of my friends was like, 'I can't wait until we're in our 30s and we're… whatever.' But I'm like, 'Don't rush it! We're 22. We can take our time.'"
