Less than two months ago, the Boston Legal actor opened up about why he was "especially thankful."
Shatner celebrated Thanksgiving on Nov. 27 by sharing a photo of himself on Instagram showing off his holiday meal, which included turkey and mashed sweet potatoes.
He reflected on how he feels "blessed beyond measure with health."
"Happy Thanksgiving everybody..we all talk about blessings at Thanksgiving…I am especially thankful this year as we are blessed beyond measure with [health], family and a beautiful gathering," he wrote. "I am wishing you all a blessed day and holiday season. Best, Bill."
Reports in September claimed the actor had suffered "a medical emergency" and was taken to the hospital.

Citing Shatner's rep, Harry Gold, TMZ reported that he experienced an issue with his blood sugar levels while at his L.A. home that afternoon.
Gold later shared an update on the actor, saying in a statement, "I spoke to Bill earlier this evening, He is fine. He is not in the hospital. He is at home. He is 100 percent healthy."
The following day, Shatner addressed the rumors in a post on X.
He shared a meme that said, "Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!" and wrote in the caption, "I over indulged. I thank you all for caring but I'm perfectly fine. I keep telling you all: don't trust tabloids or AI!"
